Aims of the Education and Training (E&T) Committee, ISBM

The main objective of the Education and Training activities of the ISBM is to facilitate international cooperation in education and training within the field of behavioural medicine.

1. To survey the current state of education in behavioral medicine worldwide.
2. To support researchers in behavioral medicine early in their careers.
3. To extend support to practitioners using the tools and principles of behavioral medicine and to extend educational tools in behavioral medicine via e-learning.
4. To expand the role of education in evidence-based behavioral medicine in health professions’ curricula.
5. To arrange for direct support to emerging graduate programs in behavioral medicine upon request.
6. To arrange for direct support to emerging new societies of behavioral medicine.
